1. INTRODUCTION

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Bookcase Australia (“BCA”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, maintains and discloses information, including personally identifiable information, collected from users (each, a “User”) of the www.bookcaseaustralia.com.au website and subscription service (the “Service”). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by BCA.

2. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

2.1 INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE IN SUBSCRIBING TO THE NEWSLETTER. .

In order to subscribe to our monthly newsletter we require that you provide us with an e-mail address. For enquiries on our Contact Page we also require a contact name, and visitors can additionally opt in to our Newsletter Subscription. Although you are required to provide payment information while purchasing our products, BCA does not collect, store, or retain payment information for any customer.

2.2 INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT.

As explained in our Terms of Use, you must be eighteen (18) years of age or older, or have obtained the consent of your parent or legal guardian, to subscribe to the Service. Therefore, we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information about children.

As discussed in 2.1, BCA will not collect, store, or retain payment information.

2.3 INFORMATION WE MAY TRACK.

We gather certain anonymous, non-personal information automatically and store it in web server log files. This information includes internet protocol addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), site entry/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and click stream data. We use this information to improve our site, analyse trends, administer the site, and gather aggregate information about our user base as a whole. Aggregate information is data we collect about a group or category of services or users from which individual user identities have been removed, and therefore does not include your personally identifiable information.

For example, as we are shipping physical goods to you, we will share your name and shipping address with our third party carrier.

3.2 IN BCA COMMUNICATIONS.

We use emails and/or prominent notifications on our website as our primary means to inform our users of important Service and promotional announcements. When you purchase a box from our store, we will collect your email address on an opt-in basis in order to keep you updated about your purchase and our services. You can unsubscribe any time via the ‘unsubscribe’ button at the bottom of any email we send.

As noted earlier, we use information collected from our web log files to calculate and publish anonymous, non-personal, aggregate statistics that we believe our members are interested in viewing. For example, we may track and publish the total number of purchases or subscribers we have at any given time.We publish this data in aggregate form only, and this aggregate data does not contain any personally identifiable information.
